Subject: IIRE is Organizing Seminar on Impact of CLimat Change on Food Security

Dear  Friends and Partners,

IIRE is organizing advocacy one day seminar on Impact of Climate Change on Food Security to highlight over all impacts of climate change with connection to food security situation in Sindh, Pakistan and building pressure upon the provincial and federal governments to design policy and programs to tackle the situation  carefully and mindfully.

As after the flood has washed away almost the entire belt of rice in Sindh so it may boost up the issue of food insecurity in Sindh. So, IIRE intends to start discussion on this issue to bring attention of the authorities like Agriculture departments, Food Departments and Environment Protection Agency etc to indulge their departments to cope with situation timely.

Seminar will be held at 10: 00 AM in near Press club Maher, district Dadu, on November 30, 2010. Invitation card is also attached herewith.
